Man, I cannot tell you how excited I am, and bummed.  I wish I could be there, first event was announced, a 7.1km Trail Run!!  Who would be better prepared than the Garage group of adventure racers?  Guess what, Sevan (guy who made the “Every Second Counts” video) let event two out of the bag early!  Which is timed tightly to the trail run, so that you get up to an hour between the two if you run REALLY fast.   The event: Within 20 seconds, Dead Lift 315#, and then have ten seconds to set-up on the next bar, within 20 seconds Dead Lift 325#, ten seconds to setup on 335#, and so on, going up by ten pounds until you have failed, or achieved all 20 bars in 10 minutes with the final bar weighing 515#.  They don’t expect anyone to lift all 20 bars because the guys who could, would be destroyed from the run!  Awesome!!

Check out some of the videos below to see what’s going on in Aromas, CA; next year… no matter what.  I have already planned other vacations around the games, come join me, even if all we do is watch.  – Dr. Eric
